Scientific Writing
In addition to my scientific publication track, I have long been involved in actively discussing, writing, and proofreading proposals within the groups’ R&D lines to apply for funding at (inter)national levels. Also, I have applied on my own to several small grants, travel awards, conference attendance, etc., from several funding entities, whenever available. I had a consultant experience for Springer Nature's new Masterclass in Grant Writing.
Bioinformatics for Data Analysis and Mining
Experienced in RNA-seq & Bar-seq data analysis, and genome/transcriptome based in silico screening to identify new promising drug targets. Familiarized with UNIX command-line environment, using R and Python language to install, modify and execute packages for results retrieval, using servers’ capacity to process massive amounts of data, mainly linked with NGS data analysis.
Scientific Research Project Management
I have senior experience as a laboratory manager and I am competent in project management, effectively planning and managing research in many different, challenging, and often limited resources, work settings. Most importantly, I am skilled in recognizing people's strengths and skills, and teaming up to promote a good and highly collaborative work environment to make science happen!
Recently, completed an EMBO Leadership course in Project Management for Scientists and a One-Month Product Management Foundations and Growth for PMs courses (for IT).
Science Communication & Teaching

•Active lecturing on Bioinformatics & Functional Genomics and Eukaryotic Molecular Microbiology courses at the University of Gothenburg
